Summer Camp 2010
We have 25 children signed for Summer Camps! During the auction, we received enough funds to provide 20 summer camp scholarships. We need help sending five more students to camp. The cost for camp is $230 per student.
If you would like to sponsor one of our students for camp, please make check payable to ‘Casino Road Ministries’ for ‘Summer Camp’. Then mail the check to: Casino Road Ministries, 14 E. Casino Road Ste E., Everett WA 98208.

Kid’s Camp—July26 to July 30 (Lake Stevens, WA)
Jr. High Camp—August 16-21 (Spokane, WA)
2009-10 Club Update
Summer time is here! It’s been a wonderful nine months of serving children on Casino Road through our homework and bible clubs. This year, we were blessed to serve 135 children between our five clubs and had 44 adult volunteers!
Recently, a volunteer from our Bluffs homework club sent me a report on how club helped some of children there.
‘I am blessed to serve at the Bluffs apartment Homework Club. Some things I have noticed, Maria (name changed) has begun reading much better. Lately, she’s asked me to sit down with her to read. Remember how she dodged us when asked if she had read yet during club? She has improved a lot just in the last weeks. She has begun to read harder words and reads with more expression. I'm encouraging her to stretch her vocabulary.
I’ve also noticed, Juanita (name changed) has opened up more and seems to LOVE club the past few months.
As always, Jose (name changed) is reaching harder to be successful. Today he asked me to check his Math homework. We practiced spelling at the art table today, not just for him, but so others might see that spelling is important.
David (name changed) aced his math homework, even beating Jose on the same problems. He had a perfect paper.
These kids are precious to me, but more precious to God. He is keeping them for His kingdom. One week, Jose asked me what I would do for my Mom for Mother's day. I told him my Mom was in heaven, and I wish I could do something for her this Mother's day, but that she was happy to be in a much better world. He looked at me with wonder. As we love them, as we share little tidbits of our faith, we may see them go on to eternity. That is my prayer for each child.’
